Winter is nearly over and if you are like us, you are counting down the days until warmer days and drinks by the BBQ. There’s one trend that you’ll be sporting for most of next season and that’s tailoring. It was a big hit at Sydney Fashion Week, and it’s here to stay until Autumn/winter next year! Thankfully we’ve got you covered, and have lots of popping florals and prints to make your sharp looks more feminine and smart.
A similarity that ran across most of the fashion weeks for spring was matching jacket and trouser combos. It’s no longer a look that is made for high class office women, but a combination that works on weekends and a night out with the girls. Acne’s Spring/summer 2014 show included the perfect cream jacket/trouser combos which made power dressing more wearable and relaxed. Balmain also showcased a similar look in all black with pinstripes.
Take note from the larger fashion houses........They're teaching us matching your prints is the way to go, and we have a couple of options that will ease you into the warmer months. Introducing splashes of colour into your workwear and weekend wardrobe. Our blue Ophella Suit looks awesome on Sydney fashion blogger Andrea Hetherington from Leather and Lattes.
